Honoured Artist of Ukraine since 1984. She studied in Kharkov Institute of Arts. Active in Kiev, Ukraine. Since 1979 she has been constantly participating in republican, regional, Moscow group art exhibitions. Solo exhibitions were held in 1974, 1989, 1990 and 2005 in Moscow. The works of the artist are kept in many regional museums of Russia and in private collections in Japan, USA, France, Germany, Poland, Finland and other countries.
Born in Kirov 1938. He studied at Repin Institute of Art and Sculpture and Architecture in St. Peterburg. He is Professor at the State University of Architecture and Engineering of St.Peterburg. Member of Union of Artists of Russia, he participated in regional and international exhibitions. Solo exhibitions were held in 1991 and 1995 in Germany and in 1994 in Italy. His works may be seen in the museums of Germany, Italy, London and are also in private collections in Russia, Spain, France and other foreign countries.
Born in Niznyaya Salda, Ekaterinburg pr., in 1918. He studied at Urals College of Applied Art, Nizhni Tagil, 1947-50. Active in Nizhni Tagil, Sverdlovsk reg. He began exhibiting in 1951. Important show: “Soviet Russia”, Moscow, 1960. He taught at Ural College of Applied Art in 1950-57.

Honoured artist of Ukraine and member of the Union of artists since 1970. The artist studied at the Kiev Art School, then in the Kiev Art institute (1963-1969). Active in Kiev, Ukraine. He participated in international, Union and republican exhibitions. His works are exhibited in many regional museums and can be found in many private collections.
People‘s Artist of the USSR (1968). Born in Lugansk (Ukraine) in 1929. He studied at the Kharkov Art Institute until 1952. He lives and works in Lugansk, Ukraine. He participated in the Union Art Exhibition in Moscow (1957) and in the exhibition «Soviet Russia» in Moscow (1960). In 1984 a solo exhibition of the artist was held in Lugansk His main genre is landscape. The works of O. Chernenko can be found in the museums of Ukraine and in numerous private collections in Russia and abroad.
Honoured Artist of RSFSR in 1971. People’s artist of the RSFSR since 1976. Born in Kirillovo, Vologda pr. He studied at Art College 1945 – 49 and at Surikov Institute until 1956. Active in Moskow. He began exhibiting in 1951. The works of the artists were exhibited at foreign exhibitions, e.g. Zagreb (1973), Poznan and Budapest (1966). Solo exhibitions were held in Moscow (1951, 1953, 1968), Minsk (1952), Yaroslavl (1954). His artworks can be found in many regional museums, private collections in Russia and abroad.
People’s artist of Ukraine. Born in Chernigov pr., Ukraine in 1926. He studied at Baku Art College 1940-41, 1945-49 and Kiev Art Institute 1949-55. Active in Khmelnitski, Ukraine and in Kiev, Ukraine. He painted in watercolours, creating theme portraits, genre paintings, still lives and landscapes. He began exhibiting in 1953. He died in Khmelnitski, Ukraine in 1989. The works of A. Kiselev are exhibited in Kiev Art Museum, in many regional museums, as well as in private collections.

Perché una collezione di dipinti del Realismo Socialista
Nelle diverse mostre sulla pittura russa del Novecento che si sono tenute in giro per l’Europa, e altrove, si è notato che dai dipinti dell’avanguardia storica - cubismo, futurismo e altro - si passa direttamente a quelli dell’arte contemporanea post-sovietica.
